Another win for South African music!
South African hard rock band; Black Bone Nation is awarded with “EP Album of the year” by BANKS RADIO AUSTRALIA for their self-titled album; “Black Bone Nation”.
PRETORIA, GAUTENG, 20 December 2018 – Banks Radio Australia, is the Aussie country’s foremost, top self-funded, independent radio station, affording airplay to artists globally with the aim of promoting the underground, and independent music scene around the world.
In 2016 the radio station launched the annual Banks Radio Australia indie music awards, presenting awards in the categories such as “EP Album of the year”, “Single of the year”, “Music Video of the year” and many more awards to their supporting musicians.
This year, on 18 December 2018, the 3rd annual Banks Radio Australia Awards were released, and saw South Africa’s very own Black Bone Nation, awarded “EP Album of the year”, for their debut 6 track self-titled album; “Black Bone Nation”.
In 2017, the hard rockers were also awarded with, “Best Single of the year”, as well as “Best Overall Single of the year” titles for their debut song; “Backseat Lover”, waving the flag high for the South African music scene internationally.
Isaac Banks, Owner of Banks Radio Australia noted on Black Bone Nation; “One of Banks Radio Australia’s favorite bands…this rock gem has all the ingredients to be number 1 in Australia, packed with huge riffs, roaring melodies and amazing vocals.”
The group will be embarking on their “Blacked Out” national tour around South Africa in March 2019 to promote their debut album, and sees them playing across a multitude of venues and SA’s top festivals where you will be able to experience their unique live show pyrotechnics, and special effects performances.
